Sponsored Review : Hada Labo SHA Moisturizing Eye Cream & Hydrating Lotion

For those of you who have been reading my blog, you’ll realise this isn’t the first time I am doing a Hada Labo review, in fact, this would be my FIFTH! Today, I’m going to tell you what I think of two of their latest products. :)

First up, Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Lotion

It has always amazed me how a few drops of the hydrating lotion can practically drown your face in hydration. When they say “one drop locks up an ocean”? Trust me, it does. The moment the lotion comes into contact with your skin, it somehow magically bursts into more than what was a few drops of lotion.. Within seconds, it is fully absorbed and keeps your skin well-hydrated all day!

When I got my first bottle of Hada Labo’s Hydrating Lotion back in 2010, even my dad (YES, MY DAD!) was sold right away, and he’s still using it!

But it gets better and better…

The lotion now boasts a superior combination of not 1, not 2, but Super Hyaluronic Acids, the latest addition being the Nano Hyaluronic Acid. The new “nano” hyaluronic acid molecule is 1/20 of the normal hyaluronic acid’s, allowing much deeper and fuller hydration.

…Not just for your face!

For some really odd reason, the knuckle of one my fingers tends to get dry and itch a lot and if it happens at night it actually keeps me awake. It could be because I once scrapped it on a piece of bad wood but anyhoos, I decided to put a bit of the lotion on it cos it was right next to my bed and guess what? It worked! So I’m guessing if you have any rough patches, knees, elbows, this might very well work some magic too!

Next up, Super Hyaluronic Acid Moist Eye Cream

The skin around our eyes are thinner and requires more care since that’s where age will start to show. In addition to the 3 types of Hyaluronic Acids, the eye cream contains two other ingredients. ACTIFLOW ingredient which increases blood circulation, helps lighten dark circles and elevate puffiness, and Jojoba oil that smoothens fine lines around the eyes.

The cream is pH balanced, free from animal derivatives, fragrance, mineral oils, alcohol and colorants, making it suitable even for people with sensitive skin. YAY! The cream is to be applied twice daily after the hydrating lotion. I use this before make up and under-eye concealing is so much less of a chore. Makeup generally goes on better when your skin is hydrated!

  1. There are lots of expensive products across the market claiming to have delivered the best results. But, it is necessary that appropriate analysis of such claims must be carried out.
