(failed) tamagoyaki with miso rice & seaweed bonito flakes
i was trying to cook tamagoyaki for the first time ever and failed, not miserably tho since i managed to salvage the egg and turn them into cute egg bunnies. i did manage to shape it into a “block” but the layers just weren’t there. i must have added too much stock cos the consistency turned out to be more like the steamed egg my mum usually makes.
it really isn’t easy to “roll” the omelette in a tiny pan. but, i’m not giving up just yet! i will practice, hopefully i’ll be able to make more decent tamagoyaki some day! :)
