Year End with ClubCouture!

This is way overdue, but so much has cropped up the past few weeks… I’ve been busy with year end customs most of the time. Last weekend I was busy with a bloggers party and had to cut short my Sunday plans cos Baileys (my bunny) was refusing to eat and was just lying down all day… Everyone got really nervous cos he’s usually so hyperactive, so something was definitely wrong. I’ll leave that for another post tho!

Meanwhile!

If you haven’t already visited the ClubCouture site, they’ve launched a new collection called “The Good Earth”. Yup, no loud colors in this collection but earthly hues… The collection features a couple of knit pieces, perfect for year end even in Singapore as the weather gets wet and cold.

I’ve picked out a couple of my favourite pieces that I feel every wardrobe should have, and since it’s the year end, and year end we party…

Here’s the puuuurrfect little black dress!

Strapless chiffon layered dress $79

I like how the top is fitted to accentuate the bust, and paired with a drapey asymmetrical skirt to show off those legs. Reminds me quite abit of a tuxedo actually. You might want to try the Miu Miu collar accessory with this… It might just work!

For all you jetsetters,

I think these would be great to pack into your suitcase!

The Dark Grey Linen Palazzo ($59) is definitely a comfy piece to put on… Paired with a long sleeve knit top as shown, it creates a very laid back look but you can take it up a notch by pairing it with a neat white tank top and a pair of pretty wedges.

The Ruched Strapless Romper ($49) is another versatile piece. Wear it with the Camel Swing Cardigan ($59) and Laurie Feodra ($29) and you’ll be all set for a day out. Thanks to it’s very unique ruched detail, the romper is made more dressy so come night time just lose the cardi and you’re ready to party!

Speaking of which, look who got caught with champagne bubbly in one hand and camera in the other at the Lauren Jasmine launch at Pacific Plaza recently…

That’s my second plaid shirt from ClubCouture… (It’s sold out tho!) I’m so hooked on plaids, but I think I’ve got just the right amount of plaid in my wardrobe now.

This was my first plaid shirt from clubcouture!

This photo was from a photoshoot all 7 Ambassadors did a year ago. Yup, it’s been a year… which makes this possibly my last post as fashion ambassador for ClubCouture.

What can I say, Thank You ClubCouture,

it’s been a great fashionista year :)

Fall 2010

With Singapore’s insanely warm weather, following fall fashion trends might not be your best bet, but, you can always get inspired and make the look hot weather friendly. Fall is basically all about layering.

Here are some of my favourite (and very wearable) Fall 2010 looks from J Crew.

I’ve “ransacked” the entire CLUBCOUTURE store online to find these “Fall-friendly” pieces! They’re pretty close to the looks shown above!

MILITARY INSPIRED PARKA $79

the weather lately has been pretty wet and on the cold side, so this look will definitely keep you warm! :)

Nikki Slitted Grey Tunic $49 // Prim Grey High Socks $16 // Black Pleated Shorts $39 // Pastel Tweed Skirt $39

ppssssttttt : you can get a pair of these Jeffrey Campbell inspired wedges from XQUISIS for just $29.90!

Georgi Cropped Coat $139 // Jamie Cropped Coat $139

( more fall looks from J Crew )

Black High Socks $16

While this look is hot on the runway, it sure isn’t the look for everyone and taller girls tend to pull off this look alot better! However, if you’re more petite and would like to rock this look, make sure your skirt is not too long, and try to have the sock just below the knee. Keeping the heels less chunky will also help in keeping a slim silhouette.

Hope this post gives your girls some “FALL INSPIRATION”! =)

Everyday with ClubCouture ♥

Hey girls! It’s been a while since I last really blogged! Life’s been keeping me well busy, and being on the move means needing tons of outfits! Here are a couple of my favourite looks from ClubCouture :)

I just got this adorable dress recently. It’s super comfy and super cute! Makes me feel like a lil kid again. I’m really back into skater dresses now cos they’re so easy to wear and are good for many occassions!

the willow skater dress is still available (as of now) so hurry grab it before it sells out!

of course, there are occasions that call for more “serious” outfits, and that’s when i absolutely loveeeeeee my turqoise silk dress!

I’m super excited to receive two more dresses I just ordered from ClubCouture this week!

It was love at first sight with this piece. Although I have plans to alter it once I get my hands on it… It’s gonna be shorter! Cos I’m not that tall anyways, need more leg-illusion!

This nude chiffon dress is something you probably wouldn’t expect me to pick out, but hey! I’m all about trying out new looks so I hope I can pull off this country girl vintage look *fingers crossed*

ClubCouture also recently launched the Flair Collection. Fronting the collection are lots of bold pieces, mainly in black and reds, but these pieces caught my eye and I’ve put them together into my favourite Flair look :)

It’s very me isn’t it?

Be sure to check out the look book, and click on the image below to check out the collection!

Head over Heels…

…in love with HEELS!

heels usually hurt my feet cos i have insanely flat feet, but the new pairs i’ve been buying lately seem to be a little more forgiving thanks to their raised fronts…

here’s the newest addition to my heels collection proudly sponsored by XQUISIS! I wore them to the Maybelline Power In You roadshow last weekend with my dress from ClubCouture :)

totally love the snakeskin look! who could tell that these only cost $31.90 a pair? and i love how they elongate my otherwise short legs!

as much as heels make us feel more confident, our poor feet and legs need a breather every once in a while… to stay grounded yet keep the glam factor, XQUISIS has manufactured these really pretty bling bling flats in silver and black using grade A “diamonds” that won’t turn yellow over time!

i think these go fab with flowy maxi dresses… and they’re great to throw in your bag when you hit the clubs just in case your heels hurt your feet too much! and they’re just $24.90 a pair!

In conjuction with the Great Singapore Sale, mention “Jeanine” when placing your order to enjoy 5% off with any two items purchased (bags/shoes), excluding sales items + free shipping during the month of June! :)

grab your girlfriends and start shopping for some new bags and shoes!

Like it, and You Could WIN IT!

as most of you would know, i’ve been sick the entire first week of may, and still not exactly in tip top shape this week…

so?

so… i haven’t exactly gone out very much in. plus, the weather has been absolutely crazy hot! but that’s no excuse not to have fun, right? okay, being sick isn’t very much fun, but i’m glad i was able to keep comfy in these tank tops! i love their cropped length, they go fab with my harem pants! perfect for lounging around at home or heading to the mall. i’ll go pretty much anywhere in these actually…

there’s a whole load of other ways you can wear these tanks, but forgive this sick puppy for sticking with the basics this time (cos the fever really fried a good lot of my brain cells this week)

i guess you girls could use some retail theraphy, so i’ve got awesome news!

YEESSSS! ClubCouture is giving away a set of their new signature tank tops (seen on me above) + $50 worth of ClubCouture vouchers to one very lucky girl!

you can’t buy the tank tops, at least not yet, only the ambassadors have it (Aren’t we so lucky?)

so YOU could be the only other person to own these tanks!

mmmm, there is a catch tho…

this one very lucky girl will be randomly picked from votes gathered from the ambassador who gets the most “likes” on facebook at the end of this little contest. so, for a shot at it, first things first…

( the link will open in a new window, so once you’re a fan, click on my photo above to take you to my photo on facebook and CLICK LIKE )

and then once you’re done,

GET ALL YOUR FRIENDS TO DO THE SAME! :)

Voting ends 20th May 2010

remember, if i manage to get the most votes, you’ll get a chance to win the goodies! good luck girls!
